204/365: Red Infinity

204/365: Red Infinity

After meeting up with another long-lost friend from SEP for lunch at the Cheeky Monk, I wandered over to the Denver Art Museum and spent the afternoon getting lost in its wonders. I found myself again yearning for my 60D, as the iPhone had a really hard time keeping up--outdoors in the harsh light, otherwise nice shots of the Capitol or other buildings got a bit too blown out, while indoors I had issues with the light and controlling the depth of field, and in some cases, it got quite artifacty. This shot in the stairwell ended up being my pick mostly because I was able to get what I really wanted from it.

In all, though, a really excellent day, about half-filled with the joy of catching up, and half-filled with necessary decompression time to process the weekend.
