Someone at my office got a mini foosball table for Christmas this year and has left it out on a table in a shared area near my desk. For giggles, I swapped out the ball with one of my GameScience d20s. I'm happy with the result, even if it does perhaps point to worrying signs that I have really missed our group's D&D sessions.
Interestingly, this is the first of my weekday 365 shots that I didn't happen into spontaneously--I actually saw the table last week, had the idea, planned the shot, and deliberately brought my DSLR so that I could do it properly. And of the ten or so variants that I tried, what you see here is the very first shot (though given a very, very subtle crop). I'm usually a "go with the flow" photographer and am used to finding inspiration along the way, often selecting a shot that's wildly different from where I started, so today's experience is both strange and very satisfying.
